VOODOO DOUGHNUT ENTERS HOUSTON MARKET WITH NEW DRIVE THRU LOCATION IN THE HEIGHTS
New market opening lays groundwork for Voodoo’s 2020 growth
HOUSTON, TX (January 14, 2020): Voodoo Doughnut, known for its handmade and innovative doughnuts, announces the grand opening of its ninth location at 3715 Washington Ave., in The Heights neighborhood of Houston, on January 15, 2020. This new market entry, its first since 2015, demonstrates Voodoo’s commitment to expanding its footprint in both new and existing markets in 2020 and beyond.
In addition to being Voodoo Doughnut’s first store in the Houston market, this is the company’s first drive-thru location, which will be available to customers 24/7.
“We are thrilled with the overwhelming excitement in the Houston market,” said Chris Schultz, Voodoo Doughnut CEO. “Houston locals have been telling us that they drive to our store in Austin to get Voodoo Doughnuts.” Schultz continued, “To honor our new community, a portion of every doughnut sold during our grand opening will be donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters.”

Store Hours: Twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
Entertainment: Ribbon cutting, live band, Voodoo giveaways and more! The first twenty-eight customers will receive a FREE Voodoo dozen, to honor Texas as the 28th state in the United States
Charitable commitment: A portion of all proceeds will be doughnated to Big Brothers Big Sisters
